A nice desk, very sturdy yet deceptively light (one person can move it around easily). Also, deceptively spacious, hard to tell from the pictures but this is a good-size desk for a den or home office. Even the keyboard shelf is massive -- it comfortably supports a specialty keyboard, mouse, and a coaster for a drink when you want to lean back. Pleasantly surprised in a day and age when many things end up being smaller or less substantial than one may have expected.A minor thing that is hard to tell from the picture is the plastic separators (between the top of the desk and the sides) are a light gray/silver. From the amazon images I had expected shiny chrome yet this is not a big deal to me, in fact they match my monitors bases nicely. Just something to note.Assembly is easy for one person. The instructions were fine to follow and the pieces labeled well. It's just five pieces and a few attaching components (separators etc), I am not certain why one would need a second person except to stand around and compliment your mastery of a screw driver. Even the keyboard shelf is easier than they can be sometimes, you don't need to do any fancy wedging or shimmying. Overall a very simple but smart design. One recommendation is to wait to add the keyboard shelf last. It shows up in the instructions near the end yet this makes access for the final steps a little harder than it otherwise would be. So, just save the shelf till the end.Shipping was on time, the packaging is very sturdy, you would expect it to be a glass item with all the extra protection.Cost was less than $120 when I bought and to me that is a very good value for a big simple basic desk.
