This chair should be listed as an ARCHITECT or DRAFTING height chair. It certainly does not fit at a normal desk and allow room for your legs to under the desk, as it's lowest elevation is about 26" off the ground. When I saw the footring on the base of this chair I figured perhaps it was taller; that's what I needed for working at my easel - so it's great for me. BUT, if you need a standard desk chair, this would not be a good choice.DIMENSIONS: The seat height extends from about 26" to 34" off the ground and the footring is adjustable to suit your needs. You can also attach the armrests or not - depending on your needs and space; with the arms on it's 24" wide and without the arms the seat is 18.5" across. The leg base is about 28" across, providing good stability for the chair.ASSEMBLY: The chair took me about 30 minutes to assemble; the instructions were fairly straightforward. Once assembled, I had trouble with the gas-lift - I couldn't get the chair to lower. I contacted customer service ( both phone numbers provided had full mailboxes, so I resorted to email.) After a few email exchanges they offered to send a new gas-lift. The replacement arrived very quickly and resolved the issue. (Note: In case you encounter a similar situation... The original gas-lift did not have the "cover" referenced (but not pictured) in the instructions - just an orange plastic knob on the end, which left me rather confused. When I got the replacement, it had a black plastic cover (see photo above) over the orange knob, which is obviously the "cover" referenced in the instructions which was missing from the original gas-lift.)CONSTRUCTION/COMFORT: The quality of the chair is in line with the price. I like the mesh back; it is cool and comfortable with good lumbar support. The cushioning of the seat is sufficient. Overall, it seems well-built and sturdy... something that will last a good amount of time with normal usage.Overall, I'm happy that I ordered this chair and it seems like a good solid rolling drafting chair.I work in parts sales at a used car lot and the smaller chair is what I had been using previously and it was AWFUL I HAD to do something. Founds this chair and it was tall enough for my desk so I decided to give it a shot. The assembly was easy enough, took all of 5 minutes but I used a cordless impact driver with a 5mm Allen bit as opposed to the little Allen key they provide. The included tool will get the job done, obviously, but your hands will be cramping by the end, they’re incredibly frustrating to use. With the included tool expect to have this chair assembled in 15 mins or less pending your skill.ANYONE can assemble this chair. You don’t need to hire someone for this. Have some confidence in yourself and get to it! It’s super easy! Just make sure that you get all the bolts tight or they will eventually start to work themselves loose. The chair itself is pretty comfortable, again a huge upgrade for me, but for anyone who is used to a super comfy chair, this might not be the chair for you. It will certainly be fine, but if you’re at your desk 8+ hours a day it’s probably not the best. The backrest does not recline, but the arm rests are adjustable so you can place them at an adequate height to make yourself comfy. The gas piston that holds the chair up is a bit soft and will sink quite a ways down when you enter the chair, however that may be just because I weigh 250 pounds. That brings me to another point, if you’re over 280lb I wouldn’t recommend this chair, it’s pretty narrow and again the gas shock isn’t really meant for supporting that weight. As for delivery and packaging, the item arrived in time and was packed well enough. The box had one corner smashed in but that did not affect the chair at all.All in all, I’m happy with it and I’m just glad to have a more reasonable chair for my desk now.Easy assembly and really, really, solid and comfortable chair. Only complaint is it is extremely high and it will not work for my application. The description did not make this clear and I was surprised after finishing putting it together how tall it actually is. More akin to a bar stool than a computer chair. Would need a very high desk to use it.First, notice that there are three styles (sizes) for the chair being offered. Look for reviews on your choice. I got the high-backed headrest chair. So some assembly is required. Not too difficult, but no instructions, see their video posted on the questions section of the product page. Only issue during assembly was with the screws to attach the armrests. Hard to get them threaded thru the holes. I have had some really bad chairs, and at least on very comfortable office chair. This was between those extremes. It is comfortable chair that I could, and have, sat in for hours continuously. The price point is very good for what you get. This is a very easy to assemble chair that's very comfortable. I got it for my wife to use in her classroom but we quickly came to realize that it sits way too high for her to use with any normal desk. The lowest setting is still too high for a normal desk. It's a nice stool replacement or to use with a standing desk. The chair comes with a decent manual for assembly but they also include a QR code to a video on how to assemble the chair. It's easy and you can finish it within 20 minutes.Overall I recommend the chair. Just make sure the height is the right size for you.I ordered this chair because it said it was for small spaces but I think that's a mis-categorization. The chair is quite large and very tall, like a drafting chair. It was relatively simple to put together and took about 15 minutes. It swivels well and is comfortable to sit in.I got this for my man. It was good enough although it was awfully frustrating trying to ASSEMBLE ALL THE PARTS! It's Easy however, Complicated since, most of it were UNEVEN. IT TOOK US AWHILE FOR 2 PEOPLE! Otherwise, he could've done the rest himself without me holding it down straight for him to screw all of them by hand.I would say 3 and a half stars however, they don't have that option. I'll give it a #4. He's comfy though! Sometimes, he falls asleep with the Fan blowing on him!
